Fire destroys Polokwane CBD supermarket

Police say the blaze began in a storeroom where two alleged shoplifting suspects had been detained. The fire was initially extinguished but reportedly reignited before destroying the store. Both suspects now face arson charges, although police have not yet established who started the fire. No injuries or fatalities were reported and the investigation remains open.
