Warm to hot conditions and possible afternoon thunderstorms are forecast for the start of the week, including parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo, according to the South African Weather Service outlook released on 1 November. Outdoor workers, travellers and people attending voting stations may be affected. Similar weather is expected on 2 and 3 November, before cooler conditions reach parts of the east on 4 November. SAWS advises the public to take precautions against heat, allow extra travel time on wet roads and monitor updated forecasts. This is an outlook, not a province-wide severe-weather warning.
